GATES MILLENNIUM SCHOLARS
Criteria: For minority students (African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American and Hispanic American) students with high academic and leadership promise who have significant financial need to complete a college degree.  Is a US Citizen, must have a GPA of 3.3 and will be enrolling for the first time in a full-time accredited college in the fall of their graduating year. More information at  https://gmsp.org/


NATIONAL WILD TURKEY FEDERATION                                                                                                       
Criteria:

U of U Chicano Scholarship
Criteria:  Must be a senior and either full blooded or part Hispanic for U of U. Students who promote the cultural pride and tradition of the Chicano/ Latino community while overcoming their own life challenges.  Chicano Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of family background, involvement in the community, and live challenges, which exemplify the Chicano, struggle for opportunity.  Applicants must have resided in Utah a minimum for 5 years.

JFK PROFILE IN COURAGE ESSAY (soph, jr, sr)                               
Criteria: Students are asked to write an original and creative essay of 1,000 words or less that demonstrate an understanding of political courage, 1st place $20,000 and cash awards to top 25 essays.  To apply, visit

Criteria:

QUINNEY SCHOLARSHIP                                                                   
Criteria:
Quinney College of Natural Resources offers 4 to 8 scholarships awarded per year ($6,00 per year for 4 years) will be awarded to freshman and incoming students for the coming academic year.  Must be a current high school senior, cumulative GPA 3.2 and 26 ACT. http://qcnr.usu.edu/

Criteria: Designed for top student leaders, providing opportunities for leadership development through a variety of activities involving recruitment, campus outreach and more. Must be a first-time freshman or transfer student and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Must have made significant contributions to their schools and communities through involvement, leadership and service. Maintain a 2.75 GPA every semester in program

JACKIE ROBINSON FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: the Jackie Robinson Foundation provides scholarship of up to $28,000/four year to minority high school students showing leadership potential and demonstrating financial need to an accredited 4-year college or university of their choice.  Min ACT of 21. LARRY H & GAIL MILLER ENRICHMENT SCHOLARSHIP U of U
Criteria: Applicants should be of ethnic background that is under-represented in higher education in Utah or those who are first generation college students.  Awards covers the cost of tuition, fees, and books for four years of attendance at the University of UT. REGENTS’ SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: 4 credits of english; 4 credits of math, 3 credits of social science, 3 credits of lab based science (must include one each of Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and 2 years of the same foreign language courses all taken during 9-12 grade.  Must have a 3.3 GPA and at least an ACT of 22.

FIRST ASCENT SCHOLARS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH
Criteria: Must be a current high school senior.  Intend to major in business have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and significant financial need to attend college.
Amount: Scholarship funds cover unmet financial need, as well as room and board to help scholars focus on achieving their academic best.

WOMEN’S ITALIAN-AMERICAN CIVIC LEAGUE
Criteria: Applicant must be of ITALIAN ancestry and graduate of a Utah school.  Scholarship is awarded based on the ACT or SAT (40%), exceptional high school academic ability (40%), extracurricular (school, church, community service work) related involvement (20%).  To be considered for this scholarship, the applicant must be admitted as a degree seeking student by the applicant’s chosen institute of Higher Education.
